Orchards of Minnetonka
The Orchards accommodates a 145‐unit, senior housing structure whose primary focus will be to provide independent living [75 units], assisted living [50 units] and memory care [20 units] to senior citizens together with a full continuum of care allowing the residents to comfortably age in place, while supported by the full range of additional services provided by Ebenezer, the facility operator.
Bismarck Surgical Associates
Ambulatory Surgical Center
The building exterior has aesthetic values that include utilizing local Hebron Brick with dark iron spots which encompasses the bulk of the exterior. By utilizing the offset curves of metal panel and smooth honed stone finishes that gives the building a “modern, yet grounded look.”
International Market Square
The historic International Market Square: cornerstone of the creative corridor, when it opened in 1985, was Minnesota’s largest renovated building, then combining 6 buildings encompassing over 600,000sf. SRa completed a renovation of the entrance, lobby, restrooms, and common areas in partnership with InUnison.
Fidelity Investments
The Fidelity Investments building adds a unique touch of character to its setting along bustling France Avenue in Edina, Minnesota. Located on the front setback of this major suburban arterial, the building intentionally avoids obstructing views to the main building on this corporate site by combining low, prairie-like building lines and vast areas of glass and brick.
AutoZone
In June 2020, SRa was tasked with designing a new AutoZone store on Lake Street in Minneapolis. The project, while seemingly ordinary for a long-time client, was symbolic to the community around it. This was one of the first buildings razed during the George Floyd protests in May 2020, with images of its destruction gaining national coverage. Its rebuilding was an effort the SRa team took to heart to ensure that this structure brings life and vibrance back to the Lake Street corridor, reflecting the strength of the community.
Hubbard Broadcasting
One of many projects SRa has completed at Hubbard Broadcasting. The main campus entrance and lobby at Hubbard Broadcasting provides guests, visitors, and employees a single point of access to all of the local media and broadcasting entities based in Minnesota, in addition to Hubbard Broadcasting’s executive administration. State of the art security is built in to a beautiful and functional redesign that highlights both the local and national media entities.
Valley Surgery Center
The Valley Surgery center is a multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center located in the Hudson Medical Center in Hudson, WI. The 19,815-sf surgery center has four operating rooms, two procedure rooms, and one GI procedure room. It has patient care stations for pre-op & recovery, and a post-anesthesia care unit. The surgery center also has a patient waiting area, administrative offices, and support areas for staff, medical equipment, and sterile processing.
Dental Associates of Savage Children's
Sperides Reiners Architects provided the tenant improvements and interior design for this 10-chair dental office suite located in Savage. Dental Associates of Savage Children’s creates plans that address children’s dental care needs and can provide a full range of services, from routine check-ups to digital X-rays. The suite has six semi-private hygiene/treatment rooms, two private treatment rooms, two larger private treatment/surgical rooms, and one recovery room.
The Oral Surgery Center & The Periodontal Center
SRa provided the tenant improvements and the interior design for the combined Oral Surgery and Periodontal Suite located in Woodbury. The Oral Surgery Center provides a unique blend of medicine and dentistry. They have five procedure rooms and four recovery rooms. The Periodontal Center specializes in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of periodontal (gum) disease.
M Health Fairview Cancer Center
An expansion in services at the existing Woodwinds campus; the oncology clinic in Woodbury includes new exam rooms, infusion care suites and staff spaces. Biophilic design was the driving force behind the design decisions here. All of the infusion bays face the lovely outdoor garden. The colors and patterns are warm, organic, and subtle. The large and flexible nurse station with sit to stand desks provides an uninhibited view to the patients to they monitor their treatment.
Twin Cities Orthopedics Blaine
The TCO Blaine Medical Office is a multi-specialty facility that offers Orthopedic Clinic with Orthopedic Urgent Care, MRI imaging services, Physical Therapy, Hand Therapy, an Ambulatory Surgery Center, Care Suites, and Sports Performance + Fitness Classes. The exterior enclosure is designed utilizing precast wall panels with a combination of a thin brick, acid washed precast and metal panels. The combination of the architectural panels, curtain wall system with glass, and architectural lighting creates an aesthetic appeal.
Twin Cities Orthopedics Waconia Physical Therapy & Sports Performance Center
Inside this 18,000 sf state-of-the-art center, TCO provides athletic training, physical therapy and hand therapy services including wellness classes, and a therapy pool. Inside the field house, with their Training Haus sports performance powered by TCO, they continue to train athletes and teams of all ages to move in a way that prevents injuries before they happen. Vance Thomas Vision
Three generations of doctors have provided care in this Alexandria, MN clinic. When SRa began the process of a remodel with an addition, it was clear that the existing building could no longer sustain its expanded clients and services. SRa worked closely with Dr. Ristvedt to continue her families’ legacy of care. This 12,000 sf building is designed for future expansion and includes a clinic and an ambulatory surgery center.
Twin Cities Orthopedics Edina
Lorem ipsum dolor At this 66,000 sf Medical Office Building in Edina TCO provides physical therapy and sports performance services, fitness classes, wellness programs, nutrition and injury prevention in a state-of-the-art facility. SRa also designed the Minnesota Prosthetics and Orthotics, a division of TCO,. Edina Surgery Center; an ambulatory surgery center, care suites for the Revo Health Excel Program, and Vascular & Intrventional Experts (VIE); all providing care in this facility. Tank Holding Group
Tank Holding Corp is the leading manufacturer of storage and material handling products. To house their growing administrative business needs while providing an appropriately updated environment for their staff, Tank Holding undertook this important headquarters project. Their new space, located in Mound, MN near Lake Minnetonka, provided a blank slate to create a warm hospitality-feeling space for the company.
Vikings Museum & Team Store
If you bleed purple and gold, be sure to visit the Minnesota Vikings Museum and Store at their practice facility in Eagan, MN. SRa coordinated extensive experiential design elements throughout the museum from Dimensional Innovations with SRa designed elements at the check-in desk, cash-wrap, and common areas.
SRa - Office
SRa had long outgrown our Bloomington space and relished the opportunity to include all the amenities we felt our current space was missing. To this end, we added different types of collaboration spaces: standard conference rooms, working conference rooms, project spaces, and simple touch down areas.
The Retreat Women's Wing
SRa has provided architectural services for The Retreat, a non-profit organization committed to providing affordable, accessible residential recovery services to help alcohol and drug dependent individuals, since 2002 when they moved to the Big Woods location in Wayzata. The original building from the 1900s was a convent occupied by the Sisters of the Cenacle. Many challenging projects have been undertaken to integrate the site and improve function. A mens wing expansion, womens wing expansion, The McIver Center, and chapel. SRa is a proud supporter of this great organization.
Navigate Forward
Navigate Forward is a unique business that required unique space planning. Their work to “help executives work and live with passion” and essentially putting the “right people in the right seats” requires individual one on one meeting areas. This can take up a lot of space in any floor plan with much of the space wasted on traffic flow. In the case of Navigate Forward located in the historic IMS building, the opportunity to combine the traffic flow into a central hub to be utilized by their clientele brought about the best use of space and a new way to do business. Traditional and even rustic finishes and lighting combine to make this a truly eclectic space.
Broadwell of Plymouth
Broadwell of Plymouth, a senior housing development located in Plymouth, Minnesota occupies four acres just north of highway 55, and is a 130-unit senior housing structure incorporating independent living, assisted living and memory care apartments for seniors in a continuum of care setting. The 4-story structure includes the latest of amenities for its residents, and addresses the most current environmental and residential support issues facing seniors in today’s marketplace.
The Sycamore of River Falls
The Sycamore of River Falls became an instant anchor to its neighborhood. It connects to the community with walking paths and beautifully landscaped outdoor spaces. The main entry canopy has a connected shaded sitting area directly off the indoor dining space. Upon entering the building, you are greeted by the fireside café, the welcome area, and a two-story open stairway.
Riley Crossing
Riley Crossing is an award-winning senior housing development located in Chanhassen, Minnesota. Riley Crossing occupies eight acres in the northeast quadrant of highways 212 and 101, and is anchored by a 136-unit senior housing structure whose primary focus is to provide independent living, assisted living and memory care apartments to senior citizens together with a full continuum of care.
White Pine
The Arbors at Ridges
63‐unit, three‐story senior housing structure whose primary focus will be to provide assisted living to senior citizens together with a full continuum of care services allowing the residents of Arbors II to comfortably age in place, supported by the full range of additional services and nearby facilities provided by Ebenezer and Fairview. 51 parking spaces on site for staff, visitors and residents.
First Athelete Training Center
Sperides Reiners Architects worked with Minnesota Made Hockey to develop a design for this one of a kind training facility. While the facility is dedicated to training hockey players; athletes of all sports are finding the large open field surface and world class weight training area a great place to train. This project was an adaptive reuse of an existing electrical supply warehouse and with the 18 foot clear ceiling height the space was deemed conducive for the training center. This 18,000 square foot facility includes weight training, cardio training, skating treadmills, and hockey shooting training area. Additionally, the 60’ x 112’ field serves a multi-sport function. First Athlete promotes a training staff that can help athletes of all ages to train for their next level.
